From all the regions of Polad it is the Lesser Poland which has been enjoying the greatest popularity for years. Quiet south – eastern environs of Poland, lure tourists with wealth of sights and beautiful places where you can just relax. It is possible to take a ride to places kind of Ojców National Park or tour to Salt-mine. Undoubtedly, the Lesser Poland is the Polish oasis of stillness, a place of silence for busy, springboard needing people. For foreign tourists the Poland-visiting season lasts all year long. So at the Krakow airport there are always plenty of foreign tourists wanting to visit salt mine.

However, the real siege of Krakow airport begins with the end of the school year. We -Poles are  used to plan holidays for the warmest months of the year (in our climate zone) like June, July or August. This is not only due to the weather, which then does not create the best conditions for travel paradoxically- you know – what a pleasure to bother at more than 30 – degree, which is usual temperature in this time of the year most frekuently.

However, it is the official holiday time in Poland. That’s when the school year ends. That’s the time  when we can take the kids on a long trip, without  any problems associated with issues kind of  backlog in school. It was then that many adult people have a long holiday too. Such popular in Poland -teaching profession – that is the time when they have two months of labs. And in some cases  (regarding university employees) even three months carefree idleness!
